W R Eeects on Cp Asymmetries in B Meson Decays Typeset Using Revt E X 1

After we have ne-tuned the right-handed CKM matrix to satisfy the bounds for CP violation K in K meson systems, the right-handed charged current gauge boson W R is shown to substantially aaect CP asymmetries in B systems. The joint 2 analysis is applied to CKM experiments and to B ? B mixing to constrain the standard CKM and the right-handed CKM matrix elements. In (sin (2); sin (2)), (x s ; sin ()), and (x s ; A Bs) plots in the presence of the W R boson, we nd certain regions that can distinguish this model from the standard model.

The CP violating asymmetries for Cabibbo suppressed charged D meson decays in the standard model are estimated in the factorized approximation, using the two-loop effective hamiltonian and a model for final state interactions previously tested for Cabibbo allowed D decays. No new parameters are added. The predictions are larger than expected and not too far from the experimental possibilities.
